About

Since 1996, Gregg Bernstein has created packaging, apparel, and graphics for clients in the music, fashion, and entertainment industries. He has worked with some of the largest (and smallest) advertising and design firms worldwide.

Gregg was raised outside of Atlanta, Georgia, where he skateboarded poorly and listened to music with ease. After graduating from the University of Georgia, Gregg began his career designing music packaging for the independent label Polyvinyl Record Co. In early 1998 Gregg accepted an art director position in New York with Alloy.com, where he developed their brand online and in print.

After moving to Chicago in late 1999, Gregg worked with advertising and design firms such as JDK, DDB, Leo Burnett, and Burrell Communications. During this time he continued to develop packaging and apparel for Polyvinyl, Vagrant Records, DC Shoe Co., Jimmy Eat World, and Weezer, among others.

From 2006 until the spring of 2008, Gregg taught graphic design and typography classes at Georgia State University in Atlanta. Currently, Gregg resides with his family in Athens, Georgia. In addition to his ongoing design projects in the music industry, Gregg is pursuing his MFA in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art & Design.
